Join us for the next CIOP event! We will have two outstanding speakers discussing how to develop and execute company strategies by ensuring the company has the right pool of leaders (succession planning) and leveraging consumer insights. 

Trevor Kunkle, Ph.D. is currently the Managing Director at the Halverson Group. Trevor has 12 years of experience partnering with global business leaders across the food service, retail, hospitality, financial services, and manufacturing industries. In his current role, he manages the Restaurant & Hospitality practice at the Halverson Group. Trevor leads teams and engagements in the areas of consumer insights, operations research, and measurement & analytics with a focus on delivering fact-based recommendations and solutions that are executable in the real world and deliver top and bottom line results. Through strategic facilitation and thought leadership, proprietary research methodologies, and rigorous design practices, he has provided insights that drive corporate strategy, developed patented end-user tools that are deployed globally, and designed new business processes impacting hundreds of thousands of employees for some of the largest and most recognizable brands in the world. Trevor holds a Ph.D. from DePaul University in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.


Aaron Sorensen, Ph.D. is currently a principal at Axiom Consulting Partners. Aaron brings unique insight to organization, leadership, and workforce issues that impact profitability and constrain growth. He is known for his ability to develop innovative yet pragmatic solutions that blend quantitative rigor with practical business savvy to help leaders cultivate the capabilities in their people and business. He has worked with numerous leading organizations including 3M, Allstate, Corning, Booz Allen Hamilton, the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL) and Novartis. 

Aaron speaks frequently on the topics of succession planning, strategic workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement and the employee value proposition, and human capital metrics. He has shared his perspectives with such organizations as The Conference Board, WorldatWork, SIOP, HRMAC, CUPA and NACUBO. Aaron holds a Ph.D. from DePaul University in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
