Kimberly Burris

Kim is a co-founder and partner in Positivity, LLC where her mission is twofold: Help people lead happier, more fulfilling, and more successful lives, and help organizations empower their employees to drive better business results. Positivity provides organizations with an innovative and scalable way to improve their culture and engage employees at all levels. Through 1-on-1 coaching sessions with a Positivity certified coach, employees learn how to better themselves both personally and professionally. In turn, organizations benefit from stronger, more positive cultures and improved financial performance.

Before connecting with her true passion, Kim spent nearly a decade working in investment banking. She has broad experience working with clients on corporate strategy, acquisition strategy, and financing alternatives. Kim graduated cum laude with distinction from Yale University with a degree in Ethics, Politics & Economics. She currently teaches graduate-level statistics and research methods at Elmhurst College. Kim also serves as a founding member of Teach for America Chicago’s Auxiliary Board. Kim is currently a doctoral candidate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Illinois Institute of Technology. She has presented her research internationally on topics including leadership, conflict management, diversity, alternative work arrangements, and social network analysis.

Mike Schroeder

Mike is the CEO of TNS Employee Insights. For over 25 years, he and his team have supported some of the world’s largest organizations in their quest to be higher performing. A few include: Citi Bank, China Construction Bank, Best Buy, Carrier, Disney, Enterprise Rent a Car, Hewitt Associates, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Otis Elevator, Pratt and Whitney and United Technologies. He and his team maintain a large global normative database which includes millions of respondents from over 100 countries. This information is used by many organizations to benchmark their performance against high performing organizations.

Mike has been a true pioneer in the field of research, engagement and high performance organizations. His team’s online platforms are used by 400,000 plus managers around the world.  He has co-authored three books, written many articles even holds a US patent for a research device.
