ZOOM SERIES I. WORKING FROM HOME & THE VIRTUAL OFFICE: TELECOMMUTING IN THE ERA OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

It’s not business as usual. As measures are being made at the state, national, and global levels to mitigate the spread of Covid-19, many organizations and institutions are suddenly forced to change how they conduct work. Schools and universities have moved to online classes for their students, and many companies are requiring employees to work from home.

In this first CIOP virtual event: Working from Home & The Virtual Office, we will like to:

• Offer people the opportunity to briefly share their experiences of how their work-life has (or has not) changed, and how companies are adapting the workplace due to the unprecedented changes brought on by this global pandemic. 
• Discuss the viability of telecommuting becoming a regular work practice in companies.
• Discuss the best practices for working from home.
• Discuss the impact of telecommuting on groups and teams.

We encourage professionals who are already telecommunicating to share their insights.
