Join this interactive panel discussion where we have speakers present the “for” and “against” arguments on the Effectiveness of Performance Appraisals. 

Speakers include:

Adrinne Jackson for the past 19 years has been employed with AT&T and has held several roles as Manager and is currently the Lead Billing Ops Manager. She received her Associates Degree in Psychology at Harper College and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Science (ABS) at National- Louis University.  Adrinne received her Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology (MAIOP) from Argosy University in Schaumburg IL in November, 2013. She is also very active in church ministry and the community and has served as a Director on the Schaumburg Human Service Board. Adrinne holds professional memberships and certifications with Six Sigma (White, Yellow, Green and Orange Belt Certified), Project Management Certified (Agile), Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology (SIOP) to name a few.  

Kim Morris Lee leads the Organizational Effectiveness area at the University of Illinois at Chicago, providing employee performance management, professional development and communication solutions. She directed the design and implementation of the university's first Career Development website, MyCareer; created an Employee Performance Review Process; and developed its first competency-based employee development program aligned with UIC’s strategic goals.  Prior to joining the University of Illinois at Chicago, she held leadership roles as Managing Deputy Commissioner in Human Resources for the City of Chicago; Project Director at International Survey Research (ISR) a Global Human Capital Consulting firm; and Senior Manager in the Organization and Human Performance Service Line at Accenture a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. In her role at the City of Chicago, she led three functional area teams and multi-million dollar contracts for the city's Human Resources restructuring initiative. As a management consultant with ISR and Accenture, she led change management, organizational effectiveness and survey project teams in the food and packaged goods, financial services and government industries.

Dr. Morris Lee holds a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College and Ph.D. in Social Psychology with concentration in Organizational Behavior and Design from the University of Delaware.

Vanessa Malo-Kurzinski graduated from Roosevelt University with a Masters in I/O Psychology in 2008. She has been working in the HR realm for almost 10 years at Swiss Automation. Swiss Automation is a local manufacturing facility that has grown from approximately 70 employees in 2006 to over 200 employees today. She is currently the Vice President and heads up the sales and HR departments.

Hayward Suggs, MBA and Chicago Bears Fan For over 20 years, successful executives and entrepreneurs have partnered with Hayward Suggs to improve their business results, professional relationships, and personal rewards.  Having served in non-profits from the line staff level through CEO and Board Chair roles, he is well versed in mission driven decision making, large system change efforts, leadership development and team building.  Hayward specializes in outcome focused professional coaching and training services that strengthen leadership behaviors and soft skills.
